40 STUDENTS BECAME UNIVERSITY STUDENTS THROUGH VAN METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY'S BESYO COURSE

The preparatory courses for the Physical Education and Sports College (BESYO) organized free of charge by Van Metropolitan Municipality have proven successful. 

Forty students who participated in the courses, which began in April, were accepted into the physical education, coaching, and sports management departments of various universities across Turkey. 

In addition, 17 students earned the right to enter sports high schools.

Van Metropolitan Municipality continues to contribute to the education of young people. Coordinated by the Municipality's Youth and Sports Department and supported by the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and the Provincial Directorate of National Education, the free BESYO preparatory courses launched in April were a great success.

In the courses given by experienced coaches working at the Van Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club, students underwent regular training programs both in indoor sports halls and in open areas. 

After an intensive preparation process lasting approximately six months, the course participants were placed in Physical Education and Sports College (BESYO) programs at various universities throughout Turkey. 

Based on the exam results, 40 students who participated in the course earned the right to become university students by enrolling in departments such as physical education teaching, coaching, and sports management. In addition, 17 students enrolled in sports high schools, gaining the opportunity to continue their education in the field of sports at the high school level.
