A NEEDY FAMILY'S HOME IN VAN WAS COMPLETELY RENOVATED

Van Metropolitan Municipality extended a helping hand to a needy family in line with its social municipalism approach. 

The house, which was painted and renovated as part of the work carried out with members of the Good People Should Not Be Lost Association, was delivered to the family with its renewed furnishings. 

The Metropolitan Municipality extended a helping hand to the Köse family, who were experiencing health problems in the İstasyon neighborhood of Tuşba district in Van. 

The family, identified as a result of previous field surveys, was visited by teams from the Department of Social Services and the Department of Youth and Sports Services, as well as individuals with special needs from the Good People Never Run Out Association. Teams carried out renovation and painting work in the house to improve the family's living conditions. 

The family, who were also provided with furniture and household items, now have a warm and comfortable home.

Expressing that the goal of the awareness project was not only to beautify a home but also to touch hearts and convey the power of solidarity, the Metropolitan Municipality teams stated that carrying out this project with individuals with special needs gave the project additional meaning.
