ASPHALT WORK CONTINUES ON THE MEMUR-SEN TOKİ SECTION OF THE RING ROAD

12 November 2025 , Wednesday

Van Metropolitan Municipality has begun laying asphalt on the lower road connecting to the ring road in Kavurma Neighborhood (Memursen TOKİ). Following infrastructure and superstructure work, asphalt is now being laid on the approximately 400-meter road.

The Van Metropolitan Municipality Road Construction, Maintenance, and Repair Department, which continues road and asphalt work throughout the city, is working intensively. In this context, PMT and hot asphalt were laid on the Memur-Sen TOKİ access road following infrastructure work.

Ersel Takva, the neighborhood headman who closely follows the work, expressed his satisfaction with the work, saying, "We didn't have an entrance road to our TOKİ. People were entering the neighborhood from a very different road. Upon the instructions of our governor, our road was opened on this route. Asphalt paving is currently underway, and I thank everyone involved. Another issue we have is the asphalting of the road on the lower side.

That road is both very potholed and very dusty. If that road is also asphalted, we as a neighborhood will be very satisfied."

Neighborhood residents also expressed their satisfaction with the work done.
