FOSTER FAMILY DAY IN VAN CELEBRATED WITH FOSTER PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN

Foster Family Day, which is celebrated every year on June 30th, was also celebrated in Van this year with various activities. Children and their foster families had an unforgettable day at the festival organized by Van Governorship, Metropolitan Municipality and Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services.

The event, organized by the Metropolitan Municipality's Department of Women and Family Services, drew attention to the importance of the foster family system and included many colorful activities such as folk dances, concerts, theater, marbling art and parkour games.

Children both had fun and enjoyed social activities.

During the festival, the sacrifices of foster families and the importance of the loving environment they provide for children were emphasized once again. At the end of the event, letters sent by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife Emine Erdoğan and Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş were presented to the families and children.
