GOVERNOR OZAN BALCI VISITED EDREMİT CLOSED NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET TRADESMEN

Van Governor and Acting  Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Ozan Balcı visited the covered neighborhood market in Edremit district Eski Cami Neighborhood New TOKİ area and met with the shopkeepers.

Built by Van Metropolitan Municipality on a total area of 3 thousand 950 square meters, the modern marketplace offers comfortable shopping opportunities to both tradesmen and citizens. Governor Ozan Balcı, who visited the marketplace and met with the shopkeepers, wished the shopkeepers good earnings and chatted with the shopping citizens for a while.

In addition to the sales stands in the indoor neighborhood market, which attracts attention with its modern structure; There are also many social facilities such as baby breastfeeding room, lavatories, masjid, administration rooms and police unit.

Speaking here, Governor and Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Ozan Balcı said, "Apart from this neighborhood market in Eski Cami neighborhood of Edremit District, we have built 4 indoor neighborhood markets with an area of 4000 square meters in Tuşba Kalecik TOKİ, Şabaniye neighborhood and Yalı neighborhood of İpekyolu District. I would like to thank those who contributed a lot. 

The opening of these closed neighborhood markets is the value given to our citizens of Van. 

Now, while our citizens will shop for fruits and vegetables in more modern and beautiful places, our tradesmen will sell fruits and vegetables in a more civilized environment.
