"I LOVE VAN" SIGN RENEWED, INTEREST MULTIPLIED
The "I Love Van" sign on the coastal road of Lake
Van, which has become the symbol of Van and is frequented by local and foreign
tourists, was renewed by Van Metropolitan Municipality.
The "I Love Van" sign at the airport location of
the coastal road, which was put into service by the Metropolitan Municipality
in 2023, was renewed by the teams of the Department of Parks and Gardens.
Within the scope of the works, the lower part of the sign
was covered with decorative marble, while the upper foil, which was worn out
over time, was replaced with phosphorescent material. Wooden benches with
flower pots were placed in the area for visitors to take photos and rest
comfortably. Thanks to the new foil, which attracts attention by glowing at
night, the writing has gained a modern appearance both aesthetically and
functionally.
After the renovation, the interest in the area increased
even more and positive feedback was received from citizens and visitors.
The arrangement and renovation works on the coastal road
will continue uninterruptedly throughout the season.
