6 November 2025 , Thursday

The Van Lake Shoreline Road Project, one of the mega projects that bring prestige to the city by the Van Metropolitan Municipality, is continuing at full speed.

The first two phases of the project were completed last year and opened to the public, and work on the third phase is being carried out by the municipality's administrative staff and using its own resources.

Road marking work was carried out on the 2-kilometer route between İskele Neighborhood 15 July Martyrs Park and the Van Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Since its opening to traffic, the Van Lake Coastal Road has been heavily used by citizens.

In the third phase of the project, the Transportation Department teams have installed traffic signs and road markings to ensure safe transportation.

The teams worked meticulously to ensure that road markings and pedestrian crossings are clearly visible to drivers and pedestrians.

When completed, the Van Lake Coastal Road, which will reach a total length of 18 kilometers and extend to Van 100. Yıl University, will significantly ease city traffic and allow citizens to enjoy the unique beauty of Lake Van even more.
