METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY INSPECTS SCHOOL CANTEENS

Van Metropolitan Municipality continues its inspections of school canteens throughout the city. 

Conducted with food engineers, the inspections examine the storage conditions and hygiene standards of products.

Van Metropolitan Municipality Police Department teams continue to inspect school cafeterias to ensure students are provided with healthy and safe food.

Accompanied by food engineers, police teams inspect educational institutions to check price tags, product storage conditions and compliance with hygiene standards, as well as the expiration dates on product packaging and business documents.

During the inspections, necessary warnings were issued to businesses that did not comply with the rules, and products with expired expiration dates were destroyed.

Van Metropolitan Municipality officials said that inspections will continue at regular intervals throughout the year for the health of students.
