METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY STARTED PLANTING TREES IN CEMETERIES
Van Metropolitan Municipality continues greening and
landscaping works in cemeteries across the city. The municipality planted 600
blue cypress trees in Akköprü, İskele, Garipler and Seyrantepe cemeteries.
Throughout the year, Van Metropolitan Municipality
meticulously carries out works such as protection walls of cemeteries, cutting
dry trees, tree pruning, maintenance and repair of dismantled paving stones,
fountains and benches, and carries out tree planting works at many points
throughout the city.
With the tree planting works carried out to make cemeteries
more peaceful, clean and green, 600 blue cypress trees were planted in
cemeteries, especially in central cemeteries such as Akköprü, İskele, Garipler
and Seyrantepe.
With the works carried out, the city cemetery was made more
visual and organized.
