RENT A CAR INSPECTION BY METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY

Van Metropolitan Municipality has intensified its inspections to ease the traffic in the city.

Within the scope of the inspections, rental companies (Rent A Car) were warned and penalized for cars parked randomly on busy streets.

A large-scale inspection of Rent A Car companies was carried out on Cumhuriyet and Maraş Streets with the joint efforts of the Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department Traffic Police and Provincial Police Traffic Supervision Branch Directorate teams.

The owners of the vehicles parked on the streets outside the storage areas were contacted and warned to remove the vehicles.

Companies that do not comply with the ban in routine inspections will be fined 933 TL. If the vehicle owners do not remove their vehicles within half an hour, an additional fine of 993 TL will be imposed.

The teams also inspected M and H plate vehicles and district line vehicles to ensure that citizens travel safely.

In the application in front of Maraş Street Şişli Teacher's House, out-of-stop passenger pick-up and drop-off, route document control, driver's license, license, SRC and psychotechnical documents, exaggerated exhaust, loud music were inspected.

Within the scope of the inspections, those who violated their rights were penalized, while the vehicles of those with missing documents were tied up.

The teams announced that inspections will continue to increase in order to ensure compliance with legal regulations in the car rental sector.
