Van Metropolitan Municipality, which touches people and life with its social events organized for all citizens from 7 to 70, recently raised awareness on October 1, World Senior Citizens Day.

In the morning, elderly individuals were picked up from their homes by free shuttle services provided by the Department of Services for the Disabled and Elderly and brought to the Toprakkale Viewing Terrace in the Tuşba district. Here, the elderly individuals spent time surrounded by nature, enjoyed the unique view, and gazed at the beauty of the city from above for a long time.

Expressing that the clean air was good for them, Mustafa Yalnızkurt said, "The weather is nice, we are happy. May God be pleased. I thank everyone who contributed."

Şaban Şabanoğlu, who said they visited many tourist attractions, said, "We went to activities every other day. We visited everywhere.

These kinds of trips really lift our spirits. May God bless those who worked hard."
