VAN METROPOLITAN GUARDS INSPECTS WEEKEND PICNICKERS FOR GARBAGE

Van Metropolitan Municipality carried out inspections at picnic areas and parks, especially on the shores of Lake Van, during the weekend.
The Municipal Guards warned the citizens sitting in the picnic areas about the garbage and stated that legal action will be initiated against the persons identified for the garbage left after the picnic.
Van Metropolitan Municipality Guards Department has increased its inspections in parks and recreation areas, which attract a lot of attention especially on weekends, for a cleaner and livable city.
While the teams warned citizens not to throw garbage into the environment, they stated that the wastes left behind after picnics both cause environmental pollution and negatively affect the use of other citizens.
