VAN METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY CONDUCTS ASPHALT WORK IN RURAL AREAS

Van Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to improve the transportation infrastructure throughout the city without slowing down.
The approximately 8-kilometer road paving works carried out in Sürüyolu Neighborhood, affiliated to Muradiye District, have been successfully completed.
The Van Metropolitan Municipality Road Construction, Maintenance, and Repair Department continues its asphalt work throughout the city. As part of this effort, the old asphalt in the Sürüyolu neighborhood of the Muradiye district has also been removed.
Following the ground preparation work on the 7.6-kilometer-long road, the necessary arrangements were meticulously carried out to ensure a more robust infrastructure.
After the infrastructure reinforcement work, the Plent Mix Base (PMB) was laid.
This important step increased the durability of the road, ensuring that the hot asphalt sat on a more solid foundation. Finally, hot asphalt was laid to complete the road.
This comprehensive road work carried out in Sürüyolu Neighborhood will not only improve transportation for neighborhood residents, but will also contribute to the creation of a faster, more comfortable, and safer transportation network by improving transportation quality in other neighborhoods in the region.
Van Metropolitan Municipality also paved a 1.5-kilometer road in Güroluk Neighborhood in Başkale district and a 5-kilometer road in Doluçıkın Neighborhood in Gürpınar district. A total of 400 meters of asphalt paving was completed on the Hospital Road in Bahçesaray district.
Van Metropolitan Municipality aims to provide citizens with a more comfortable and safer transportation experience by strengthening the transportation infrastructure throughout the city with such projects.
