VAN METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY'S GREEN TRANSFORMATION INITIATIVE

Van Metropolitan Municipality continues to breathe life into the city with its greening, afforestation, and landscaping efforts across the city.
As part of the work coordinated by the Parks and Gardens Department, 65 ornamental cherry and ash trees were planted on Marshal Fevzi Çakmak Street, where paving work has been completed.
Acting in line with a modern urban planning approach, the Metropolitan Municipality aims to achieve significant gains in both aesthetic and environmental terms with these initiatives. With the new drainage system, sidewalks, and tree planting along the avenue, Marshal Fevzi Çakmak Avenue is taking on a more modern and livable appearance.
Continuing its work uninterrupted in line with an environmentally conscious municipal approach, Van Metropolitan Municipality will continue its landscaping efforts on streets, parks, and gardens throughout the city to increase green spaces and enhance urban aesthetics.
