VAN METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY STAFF RECEIVE 'OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY' TRAINING

Van Metropolitan Municipality organized 'Occupational Health and Safety' training as part of its in-service training programs to support its staff in working in a healthier and more informed manner.
Organized by the Department of Health Affairs, the training was held in the conference hall of the Department of Women and Family Services with the participation of occupational safety experts and workplace physicians.
The training covered important topics such as occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, workplace practices, first aid information, and emergency management.
The training detailed the responsibilities of employers and employees.
Experts provided participants with information on workplace accidents, occupational diseases, and the legal rights and responsibilities of employees, while also informing them about ways to prevent diseases and create safe working environments.
The two-day training was attended by Occupational Safety Specialist Osman Fidan, Occupational Safety Specialist Yusuf Demir, and Workplace Physician Dr. Parisa Hadi Chelan.
