VAN METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY STARTS SEASONAL FLOWER PRODUCTION

Van Metropolitan Municipality has planted 145 thousand
seasonal flower seeds to be used in parks, gardens, streets, refuges and
intersections.
Metropolitan Municipality Parks and Gardens Department
started seasonal flower production in five natural gas greenhouses of 2,900
square meters located in Süphan Neighborhood of Edremit District.
The teams planted velvet, Chinese carnation, gazania,
dahlia, zinnia, daisy and cockscomb seeds in the greenhouses.
The carefully planted seeds will complete their development
in about two months and will decorate the city by planting them in designated
areas in parks, gardens, streets, refuges and intersections.
The plan is to improve the aesthetic appearance of the city
and achieve the goal of a greener Van.
