VAN METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY STARTS SOCIAL CARD DISTRIBUTION

Van Metropolitan Municipality contributed to low-income
families with the "Social Card" service launched before the Ramadan
Feast.
2,219 people can shop at Turkish Agricultural Credit
Cooperative markets with the cards distributed.
The Department of Social Services, which launched the
"Social Card" service for low-income families in the city, eased the
economy of low-income families before the feast.
Social cards are given to families identified in the field
by social service experts according to the number of individuals.
With the cards, which have a minimum limit of 2 thousand
Turkish Liras, families can shop for many items, including food and cleaning,
at the Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperative markets.
This social assistance service of Van Metropolitan Municipality aims to strengthen social solidarity by providing assistance to the most needy segments of society.
